What to Expect from the Finish

UV embossing adds raised detailing, while the matte coating and grain-style texture create a different surface appearance from a smooth glossy card. Lighting and viewing angle can affect how the surface details appear.

Preparing Your Photos

If you are uploading your own image, use the original, highest-resolution version whenever possible. Screenshots, compressed images, and blurry photos may appear less sharp when printed. A 300 dpi printing specification does not restore detail missing from the original image.

Allow for the white-border layout and keep faces, text, and other important details away from the edges of the image area.

A Note About Color

Your screen displays images using light, while a printed card reflects light. Colors may look different between your device and the finished photocard, and the lighting in which you view the card can also affect its appearance.
