What to Expect from a Glass Shard Finish

Glass Shard describes the decorative film effect applied to the photocard, not a card made of glass. The finish adds a patterned surface effect to your printed photo. Its appearance can vary with lighting and viewing angle.

Preparing Your Photos

For the clearest result, use the original, highest-resolution version of your photo whenever possible. Screenshots, compressed images, and blurry photos may appear less sharp when printed.

Keep faces, text, and other important details away from the edges of your design.

A Note About Color

Your screen displays images using light, while a printed card reflects light. Colors may look different between your device and the finished photocard, and the lighting in which you view the card can also affect its appearance.
